About HTM Consulting
HTM Consulting provides advisory services to Healthcare and related organisations in the field of equipment procurement. Our experience of equipment has been gained from many years working in this field and covers the complete equipment spectrum from specialised diagnostic imaging equipment, pendants and operating lights to more minor equipments such as fixed and mobile furniture. We have extensive recent experience covering a number of roles, which can be found under 'Projects'.

Barts and the London NHS Trust 2007- 2012
Martin has worked recently with the Trust on Managed Equipment Services for Radiotherapy and Imaging equipment include advice on contract development, financial models and equipment selection.
Humber River Hospital Toronto, Ontario - 2010-2012
HTM have worked with the Hospital and advisory team to develop the first Managed Equipment Service in Canada.
North Bristol NHS Trust 2007 - 2010
HTM worked with the Trust throughout the bidding process for this PFI project as advisers covering all equipment aspects of the project. The preferred bidder has now been selected and construction started.
William Osler Health System Brampton, Ontario - 2013-2015
HTM have worked with the Hospital and advisory team to develop the second Managed Equipment Service in Canada. This covers a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging equipment across three sites.
Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospital 2008 - 2012
HTM have helped develop the equipment database, specifications and documentation in preparation for tender for redevelopment of the Royal Hospital.
Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill, Ontario - 2013- 2015
HTM worked with the Hospital as part of the advisory team to develop an MES for medical equipment to equip the new 350 bed Vaughan acute hospital. The MES also includes equipment at the current Richmond Hill Hospital.
Southampton University Hospital NHS Trust 2008 - 2013
HTM have been working closely with the Trust team to develop Managed Equipment Services for Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
North Middlesex University Hospital 2008 -2010
We have worked closely with Bouygues UK construction company in the procurement of and design for medical equipment and furniture with particular emphasis on major imaging equipment.
Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill, Ontario - 2014 - 2016
Mackenzie Health has sucessfully developed a MIS (Managed ICAT Service) to cover Information Communication and Automation Technology for the new Vaughan Hospital. HTM Consulting supported the hospital and advisory team on this project.
Martin Cook, Director
Martin is a Director of HTM Ltd with over 30 years experience in the Medical Equipment field in a variety of roles. Martin has extensive recent PFI/PPP experience and has worked within successful bidding teams as equipment adviser to construction companies. He has been involved in procurement and equipping treatment centres and hospitals and other facilities with particular focus on major Imaging equipment.
Martin's experience also includes International and UK advisory positions for both Managed Equipment Services (MES) and all other hospital medical and non medical equipment. He has also carried out Project Implementation reviews, has acted as an Expert Witness in equipment disputes and worked on business cases for a number of NHS Trusts. Martin's international experience also includes several years in the Middle East in both the Biomedical Engineering field and in developing hospital turnkey equipment and maintenance services. His specialist area of expertise lies in all aspects of Imaging and Radiotherapy Managed Equipment Service (MES) projects.

HTM Consulting advising Hamilton Health Sciences as they develop a MES and Strategic Performance Collaboration.
December 2018
HTM Consulting appointed to NHS Shared Business Services framework for Managed Equipment Service Consultancy.
2017 to date
New Children’s Hospital Dublin. HTM Consulting is currently advising the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board on medical equipment procurement and Managed Equipment Services.
September 2016
Mackenzie Health successfully concluded a managed service for ICAT sytems. HTM supported the hospital as part of the advisory team.
